At CONEXPO, it wasn’t just the quantity of attendees – over 144,600 – but the quality of attendees who made it to the show to seek out the best vendors and solutions for their companies. Fenner Dunlop was armed and ready!

Fenner Dunlop’s $90 million investments in its new weaving facility in Hartwell, GA, and in its 96” belt expansion in Port Clinton, OH, will be nearing completion mid-2008. These projects represent a commitment to the U.S. economy that has not been seen before in the conveyor belting industry.

Making a Difference in the Community
In keeping with Fenner Dunlop’s philosophy of supporting local communities, they chose a very worthwhile organization in the Las Vegas area, The Las Vegas Rescue Mission, to donate money and furniture to during the show.
 | The Las Vegas Rescue Mission, a non-profit organization, has been providing spiritual guidance, emergency shelter, food/clothing/household item services and residential recovery programs to the Las Vegas homeless since 1970. Their programs are focused on assisting homeless men and women get back on their feet rather than only providing them “hand-outs”. |
Mr. David Hurd, Fenner Dunlop President, and Mr. Doug Simmons, Fenner Dunlop’s Executive VP of Sales & Marketing presented Mr. Ray Spears, Donor/Volunteer Relations Manager for the LV Rescue Mission, with a monetary donation at CONEXPO on Thursday, March 14. Following the show, Fenner Dunlop donated two loveseats and three occasional tables to the mission for their desired use in hopes that a family in need can benefit from the donation.
